Switzerland Trail Bikepacking Supply was created to bring the most useful bikepacking gear into a single, curated experience. Intended to serve everyone interested in taking a bike into the wilderness, from casual onlooker curious about this mode of adventure, to the seasoned long distance racer. We are located on the doorstep to the Rockies, Longmont, Colorado.

In addition to offering the smartest bikepacking gear on the market, we also offer custom wheel builds, and are always happy to chat local rides.

With a variety of high-end hub, rim, and spoke choices, your wheels will be tailor-made to your suit your use case, riding style, and body type.

Returns & Warranty

Return Policy

At Switzerland Trail, we want you to be completely satisfied with your gear. If you're not happy with your purchase, we're here to help.

Gear

Returns

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return eligible items for a refund or store credit.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in the same condition you received them.

  • Original tags, packaging, and accessories must be included.

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Custom or personalized products; wheels

  • Used gear or items showing signs of wear

  • Consumable goods (e.g., fuel canisters, food, first aid items)

Return Process

  1. Request a Return: Contact us at info@switzerlandtrail.com to initiate your return.

  2. Pack Your Gear: Securely package the item(s) with your order number included.

  3. Ship It Back: You’ll receive a return shipping label or instructions based on your location.

Return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to our error (e.g., defective or incorrect item).

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you by email. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

If your return is rejected due to ineligibility, the item will be sent back to you.

Exchanges

Need a different size or item? We recommend returning your original item for a refund and placing a new order for faster processing.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with a photo and description. We’ll make it right.

Wheels

Returns & Service

Wheels are built by custom order, and are not returnable.

  • If a specification is incorrect (i.e. freehub body, axle spacing, brake compatibility, etc.), please reach out to info@switzerlandtrail.com to discuss options. We are not responsible for incorrectly reported compatibility, such as drivetrain, brake, and frame compatibility.

  • Wheel build workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the date of delivery. Workmanship includes true, dish, and in-spec tension values.

  • Hub rebuilds are guaranteed for one year from the date of delivery.

  • Parts are covered by manufacturer warranty when purchased new through Switzerland Trail authorized dealer accounts.

  • Custom wheels are eligible for one free truing service within the first year of use.

  • Reused parts will be inspected for wear and damage, but cannot be guaranteed for longevity or quality of useful life. Reused components are considered delivered in “as-is” condition.
